COD4 for Mac OS X not working due to punkbuster

well I am playing Mac Version of COD4 without having bootcamp. There is no issue with the iMac itself. Rather than game is saying that punkbuster is not able to initialize when I am logged into the game and it simply kicking me out from the servers which is saying ‘no packet flow’ I really wanted to play above mentioned game but still I am not able to get anything which can make the game working. Any help to resolve the matter will be appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Looking at the situation I recommend that you should simply remove the router and simply connect your system with the modem itself. If it fixes the issue then there is an issue with the router itself. Also you can try to test the issue by playing the game without having Punkbuster. It will let you know the root cause of the problem.

I think you will be able to resolve the issue by doing below mentioned steps.

• You have to download pb update program and place the same at below mentioned file location
• /Applications/Call of Duty 4.app/Contents
• Now locate the COD4 into applications and right click on the same and select Show Package Content.
  
• After that you have to right click on contents and click on Get info.
• Now Drop down sharing and permissions and click on padlock botton available right side of info. Now you have to admin to login.
• Now you should change the permissions to read and write and make sure that you are doing the same with the all the subfolders.
  
• Now simply run update into the pb update program.

After going through the issue I think you will need to reinstall the game as well as punkbuster on your system and see whether it is making any difference in the situation.
