Should we Upgrade Buildings in Tropico 4 Modern Times

Do we get any greater and additional effects by Upgrade Buildings in Tropico 4 Modern Times, for instance if I Upgrade Buildings will I get option to hold more people or are they are just cosmetic changes. Thanks in advance…

According to me you will get different effects by Upgrade Buildings, by Upgrade Buildings you will get improved and different effects such as housing quality and number of resident, along with this I would like to see more code used on a grade school to get more students on this game.

Hello I have issue with the upgrading, according to the game manual while DarkStar One is ready for an upgrade we can choose area which we want to upgrade like Hull, Engines and other all 3rd options. Although when I a m ready for upgrade, I am not able to upgrade which I have selected and while doing this I have got the X: Upgrade" option available and now I can’t upgrade, I have also seen some upgrades are "preset" for particular ship areas. Anyways can anyone suggest me what I am doing wrong and what should I do to solve this issue.

When DarkStar One is ready for an upgrade you normally get upgrade options and if you will not get upgrade for all artifacts, you should gather through manually. Once you done and after that your able to see available upgrade in the upgrade section of the logs menu in top left and if you get the any upgrade then just update the hull, wings or engine and press A and after that you will see X to upgrade and press Y to see the tech tree. If you can see tech tree only I think you don’t have to upgrade, while doing this make sure you have checked the plasma cannon section because you can boost and unlock new abilities for it too. Hello even I have got this issue and I have solved without any issue. When DarkStar One is ready for an upgrade you normally get told to upgrade options and you will not get upgrade for all artifacts, you should gather all a few ( you will get information for how much you want to collect after everyone you pickup/win). Once you done and after that your able to see available upgrade in the upgrade section of the logs menu in top left and if you get the any upgrade then just update the hull, wings or engine and press A and after that you will see X to upgrade and press Y to see the tech tree. If you can see tech tree only I think you don’t have to upgrade, while doing this make sure you have checked the plasma cannon section because you can boost and unlock new abilities for it too. Hello thanks for the replies and I know how to upgrade and select the section I want upgraded, my issue is I am not able to choose the where the upgrades go that’s it. I need to help on this, please help me on this, thanks in advance…
