There are a number of games out there , but over the top of my head are Starcraft 2 , World of Warcraft 3 and all the downloadable contents.Apart from that,there are a lot genres like FPS and RPG that you might enjoy. My favourite ones are the FEAR series and Mass Effet series.

I found the Supreme commander pretty good with all the life like graphics. You should definately check it out. Also check out other genres.They are fun too. Warzone 2100 is one of the best games of all times and it is also free.
There are a lot of games in that genre. Lets see... Dawn of war, the entire series, Empire Earth, Company of heroes, Age of empires series, etc. The list seems unending.
