Unable to locate steam games on OS X Lion

I don’t know what the problem is but somehow I am unable to find the games from the steam on my Mac machine . I really hate steam for not having any consistency as the just keep changing the stuff all the time . and now I am not able to find my game . I checked the following location but they are not there either

    /Library/Application Support/Steam
    /Documents/Steam Content
    Applications/Steam

In fact when I search the game it shows nothing . can anyone here tell me what is exactly wrong with the steam and how can I solve this issue, I will be glad .

Well I suggest that you look in the following folder may be you find the game there if that help

~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common

I have the same issue on my pc , I had 2 library folders on my computer . one was in the user folder and other was in the hardware . I checked the one in the user name and that dint had the game file and then looked ever where but I was not able to find the issue . then I got to know that the folder in the hard drive is actually hidden by default. Even thought I use the administrator account. And that was the place where the steam kept all its files , so I suggest look for that hard disc library folder . you will find your game there

Well try this may be help you

1. Just go to the finder
2. Then click on the Go on the top bar
3. Click the option button on keyboard ( in case you are using the windows keyboard the hit Alt key)

That’s it this will bring all the hidden library ,

For getting the hidden folder in the OS X Lion you have to go to the “GO” the keep press and hold the option key on the keyboard , this will show the list of the hidden folder ib the menu selection just click on it now go to the application support and after that to the steam .

Thanks everyone for chipping in. I did what you said and I right away see the hidden folder and got the my games right away!
