Does MLB 2K12 having auto fielding and baserunning as that of previous title? I would not purchase the game until unless I get confirmation for this particular game. any help on the above mentioned topic would be appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Yes this particular having both the option which you stated in your question. But it is implemented in certain extents. Also it auto catches but still you will require to run in the direction of ball.
