Did anybody notice that Alex Casey is Max Payne in Alex Wake

Have you noticed that the in the game the "Alex Casey" series looks to be derived from the Max Payne in some way. I just wanted to know that what the other people think about this. If you have some thoughts about this then please post that over here.

Alex Casey, the hero of the novels Wake seem to be very close to Payne when you read a manuscript in the apartment in NY which is the original version of Payne. At a recent cinematic, it's the voice that narrates Payne as a voiceover. So, Alan's in-game books, the "Alex Casey" series seems to be derived from Max Payne in a way.

I noticed lots of nods to Max Payne until now when I just arrived at the beginning of episode 3. In the apartment in New York Snow Storm Outside is same as first. Television is similar to Max Payne 2 with emission. Flashlight with batteries = Hourglass of bullet time and stuff like that. Other than this the novel Wake in covered with the black man. He tells a story similar to that of Max Payne.

There are also pages of manuscript at the beginning of episode two it seems to me, is the spitting image of Max Payne, especially the last sentence. Similarly, there are the Poets Of The Fall, a group that made some music of Max Payne 2 (whistles the cleaner in the basement and that terrorist acts pianist). he first 2 pages of the manuscript of episode two is same as the Max Payne.

• Alex Casey The books which the font is the same as for the Max Payne games, a book called "The Fall Of Alex Casey" then the end of Chapter Three (The Fall of Alan Wake)
• The terms "Ragnarok", "Valhalla"
• The metaphors used by Alan as Max.
