Unable to play Generals video game on windows 7

Hello I have windows 7 operating system and recently I have installed the Generals video game on mine system and but I am not play this game because when I try to play this game I have got the error message. I have tried the lots of solution to solve this issue but nothing helped me to solve mien issue. Now I don’t what to do and how to solve this issue. Can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mien issue.

You might have disabled the Windows Installer service and so therefore you’re getting this issue and so I would like to suggest you to enable the Windows Installer service and after that you can solve your issue. To do this you need to go through the below steps: make right click on my computer and after that select the Manage. Now here make click on the Services and Applications on console + tree option. Now on the Services and Applications click on the service and right-click Windows Installer and then choose the start. Now once you done and after that go through your issue.

I have solved mine issue with below steps: go to my Documents' and under locate to the folder named 'Command and Conquer Generals Data' or 'Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data' where you installed the game. Now here cerate the notepad and under that type the below command and codes:

Now once you done and after that save this file ‘options.ini. Now once you done and after that try to run this game on the administrator mode and after that go through your issue.
