Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition not running on Windows 7

I have installed Sim City 4 Delux Edition on my computer. I am not able to launch the game on my computer. as I double click on the game I am getting flash screen and after that nothing is getting happen. Can you tell me why I am facing from the above mentioned problem? Thanks a lot.

You have to check error message or error code in event viewer by using below mentioned steps.

• You have to click on Start and enter Event Viewer in the search box.
• From the event viewer windows you have to click on expand windows logo
• Now select Application and Check.
• If you found anything like error code or error message then post over here.

There could be compatibility issue between the game and operating system which you have installed. so you should perform below mentioned steps.

1. You have to right click on the game and click on Properties.
2. From the Properties menu you have to click on Compatibility tab and select appropriate option for operating system and see whether it is working or not.

After going through the problem I am suspecting that the user account which you are having on computer might be causing issue. so what I saying that you should create a new user account and try to play the game.

Well I am wondering that there is need of updating display drivers.

• You have to click on Start and type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
• Now you have to expand Display adapter and right click on the sub item and click on update driver.
• After updating the driver you should restart your computer.

Do you have reinstalled the game? If you have not done the same then reinstall the game.
