Even I have faced the same issue and after that I have gone through the below steps to solve this issue: to do this you need to download the below zip file on your system. Just download the below steps. Once you finish the downloading and then un-zip first then copy the .dll file into the directory of game. I hope this help you. Click below to download file:

File Type: zip UIAutomationCore.zip (75.8 KB, 8 views)

Try to clean boot on your system and after that launch the game again. To do this you need to go through the below step: first login with the administrator mode and after that go to the start and then make click on the run. Now on the run type: msconfig and after that click on the ok button. Now you will get the system configure utility windows and under that go to the general tab and under that make click on the Selective Startup check box and then make uncheck mark on the Load startup items check box. Now go to the service tab and under that make click on the Hide all Microsoft services check box, then choose the Disable all. Now once you done and after that reboot the system for the best result.

I think there might be something issue with the sound driver, may be you have not updated your sound driver, so I would like to suggest you to updated the sound driver on your system and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. Go to the start and after that make click on the run. Now on the run type: dxdiag and after that make click on the ok button. Now you will get the DirectX windows and under that go to the sound tab and after that look at the name of Device and after that find the driver for the sound device..

Re: Flight Simulator X crashing due to “UIAutoMationCore.DLL”

UIAutoMationCore.DLL error means you have issue with the corrupt registry entry and so I would like to suggest you to download the Windows Registry cleaner software and then run on your system. If you have any corrupted DLL file this will remove. Now once you done and after that updated windows..

Reduce sound acceleration and then you can solve your issue. To do this you need to go through the below steps: as above post open the DirectX windows and under that go to the sound tab. Now on the sound tab change the Hardware Sound Acceleration Level to Basic acceleration on DirectX Features section. When you complete all this, reboot the system for the best result.

Have tried to run this game on Compatibility mode. So if above steps not working to solve the issue and then I would like to suggest you to run this game on Compatibility mode and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. To run game on Compatibility mode goes through the below steps: first make right click on the game icon and then click Properties. Now on the properties select the Compatibility tab. Now on the Compatibility tab make check mark on the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box and after that choose the Windows 98/Windows Me from the list.

Re: Flight Simulator X crashing due to “UIAutoMationCore.DLL”

It's amazing all the wrong answers. I've been following the problem for over two years now. No, replacing UIAutomationcore.DDL (with the Vista Version) will not stop the problem (though it may help a bit). Cleaning the boot won't help. This has nothing to do with the sound driver. There' no corrupt registry entry. Reducing sound acceleration will not help either. Compatibility mode won't help either.

A while back I tried most of these and nothing worked. Finally some suggested renaming UIAutomationcore.DLL, effectively removing it. This worked, sort of. After removing it, other programs that used it complained and would no longer work.

I waited a while and one day, after a big update downloaded from MS, everything was somehow ok. UIAutomationcore.DLL was back where it belonged. The other programs worked, and FSX worked too. This was for probably about a year.

Now guess what, it's crashing again. I assume MS has (oh so thoughtfully) downloaded a new version that has the old bug. I haven't tried removing it yet, but I'm willing to bet that will fix it again (until MS so thoughtfully downloads another, which may or may not work).

Sheesh. You would think they'd have this under control given that FSX is their program.

sad Re: Flight Simulator X crashing due to “UIAutoMationCore.DLL”

I have had this issues for four years. I play the game for the first thirty minutes and everything is fine. I start to descend for the landing and things get shaky the frame freezes and then just when I am on final, fatal error. And yep UI Automationcore fault.

I am so frustrated don't know what the heck to do. I have tried flight sim pro really hard as heck to run so I returned it. Now I have the new version of x plane 10 BUT I miss my flight sim x. I still hae not downloaded x plane it takes hours when I first tried it was not realistic at all and only one airport available at this time SeaTac.

I called microsoft and they don't offer support for the game anymore. Not that they could do anything in the first place anyhow. So, anyone have any ideas on a step by step process to update the UI Automationcore? If you do llet me know. Thank's guys
