How is the “Oil rush” game’s performance in 32 and 64 bit operating systems?

How is the “Oil Rush” game’s performance in both 32 and 64 bit operating system? Has anyone tried this? I have 32 bit operating system!

The only advantage you get using 64 bit operating system is that only 64 bit programs are able to take advantage of extra CPU register and can use more than 4GB of RAM! Otherwise if you see it both are the same. The 64 bit operating system will need more RAM due internal pointers! I would recommend you that only use 64 bit operating system if you have more than 3 GB of RAM! You will need more RAM to have better advantage otherwise stay on the 32 bit operating system!

Suppose that I am using 8GB of RAM on 64bit operating system but I am using only 32 bit operating system on my computer! A 32 bit application can use maximum of 4 GB of RAM then in my case won’t it utilize only 4GB of RAM out of the 8GB of RAM and I will have to use 32 bit PAE? Thus I think having 32 bit of operating system is better! Please correct me if I am wrong.

See in windows, 32 bit applications use only 2 GB of RAM and since you have 8 GB of RAM you should go with 64 bit of operating system! if you have 32 bit application on 64 bit operating system then it will utilize up to 4 GB of RAM! Since you have 8 GB of RAM you can use 4 32 bit applications at a time consuming 2 GB each! PAE has become old now and implemented in Servers only.

Physical Address Extension only affects the operating system and not application!32 bit application can never use more than 4 GB of RAM!PAE acts like hack which allows 32 bit operating system to use more than 4 GB of RAM and hardware security features like NX-Bit. In windows additional RAM is disable so that you can only use NX-bit. A 32 bit PAE-enabled Linux can Map up to 64 GB RAM and each application can use up to 4 GB of RAM! As far as performance is considered when you are using 64 bit of application it increase performance by 0% to 100% but if you are using games then it will only change 0% to 5% only!
