Getting "Nvidia Physx" error while playing King Arthur II: The Roleplaying War

Hello friends, i have purchased the game from Steam and i was just trying to play it, so when i click to play then it was showing me the message that i should have the Nvidia Physx. so when i am getting the message then also i am getting the download link to download it. So i do select the option to get it and install it manually as i have account which is not having the administrator rights, but it was not happening for me. So does anyone also got the problem and is there any perfect solution to solve to so that i can play it. Thank you.

I have heard about the same problem from the use who are having the Windows Vista and windows 7, so i am having the step which will be helpful to solve the problem and to start the game.

• Go to the Steam Games Library
• Now right-click on King Arthur
• Select the Properties / Local Files / Verify integrity of game cache...
• Exit Steam entirely
• Browse to the King Arthur installation folder on the System.
• Then run the DXSETUP.exe, you have to right-click and choose: "Run as administrator"
• And also the vcredist_x86_SP1.exe but right-click and choose: "Run as administrator"
• Now Restart the computer and see that you are getting the same problem again.
• If then also the problem is there then run PhysX_9.09.0814_SystemSoftware.exe and you right-click and choose: "Run as administrator"
• Then again restart the computer and test.

I would say that if you do the above method then you also check the spyware, antivirus and firewall of the computer, such that it might be due to the reason of them which is been keeping the game files in quarantine so you might be not able to play the game.

It is not related to the problem of the computer is due to the problem of the Steam, where if you play the gamersgate version then you will be not get the problem at all. I am having the simple way which is that uninstall PhysX from the computer and then run the game. When it will run then it will automatically install the PhysX on the system. When it is need installed then you do not try to update it with the download from nVidia when it is been over with the first time is over. When it is done then it just revert back to error message. This was the first hand experience of mine, and i would suggest that do not purchase from steam.

If you are not purchasing from the Steam then you will be not getting the update of the game. Well there are plenty of the new release which are going to come so you might be not able to get it.

If it is asking for the Nvidia PhysX then you need to have to PhysX and it is not concern that which graphics card you are using it. It is due to the reason that most of the games need to have the Havoc to use the Nvidia PhysX. This is mostly the common error which is been seen. If the game is asking to install then you better install it, if you are using the Windows 7 or vista then you have to do it manually and install it as right-click and choose Run as administrator.

I do not think that it should ask and it should be give the problem while playing the game. So it need to worked and add the file in the installation of the game, so that the user do not have trouble with it.

You should go through the popup message you get when you start the game, that will always solve the problem and you go to nvidia site there you will get proper driver.
