They don't actually have to be all over the place From the 3 TES games I've played, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim they were simply featured largely within Oblivion and the simply place you possibly will find them in Morrowind was within Mournhold from the Tribunal expansion pack. What I'm further surprised regarding is the absence of Rieklings, where are the Rieklings? In view of the fact that they were in Solstheim I was sort of expecting to perceive them on the mainland of Skyrim as well.

I’ve begun to take for granted that they are typically within the cyrodill area, and the ones that were in skyrim were almost wiped out and the leftovers took cover underground, resulting within the falmor. They are part of the lore of Southern Tamriel – they are not able to survive well within Skyrim. Anyway I think they can't be missed at the moment as soon as we can perceive that Falmer has survived through the centuries and at what time lived hiding underground they have turn out to be to be more like goblins than elves, which they make use of to be.

Falmer are really believed to be an ancient elf race which in order to get away mass murder, ran underground and found the dwemer who make use of then as slaves, and in order to stay then weak, feed then exotic plants that would make after that blind and deteriorate their bodies, subsequent to that, it is consider they overthrew the dwemer and took over, it is not 100% known on the other hand if they in fact killed then all or they simply scared then away.

I'm extra wondering why the Falmer are presently sort of "there". I mean, last we heard we were at rest talk about if the Falmer still existed or were presently a myth. At the moment we have caves full of them and this doesn't appear like a big deal in-game? Have somebody found some in-game lore relating to the Falmer?

There's abundant however vague evidence in game to maintain this, from texts to statues to artifacts to the nature of their dwellings themselves, frequently near or intertwined through abandoned Dwemer ruins and regularly containing Dwemer artifacts.

I as well miss Goblins. They were in fact one of my preferred enemies in Oblivion. They were huge for training skills, and presently an interesting "race" overall - through a somewhat intelligence culture. As mentioned on top of, Falmers come into view to be the Skyrim replacement for Goblins. At rest I Miss Goblins, and I expect a mod will add them back. I was once attacked through ten falmer, and four to five chaurus, useless to say that that was very frustrating.

On a tangent, did somebody go and perceive Terry Pratchett at the Royal Theatre in London? He said he played Oblivion, and god one of his "modder" friends (he used the term) to make him an Amulet of Goblin Kindness that let him go in goblin settlements devoid of them attacking him, and share their things. It appears quite unreasonable that they attack you presently for the reason that you've wandered into their home by a huge sword, and arrows, and fireballs, and armor.

The Snow Elves (who turn out to be the Falmer) amassed an army and were going on the way to conquer the Dwemer, however at what time were ready to attack all the Dwemer had vanished. Or says one of the within game lore books.

Snow Elves have been annihilation through the Nords at what time the Humans started to overcome Tamriel. The Snow Elves fled, go underground. Within underground they establish the Dwemer that were stronger while there was presently a few of the Snow Elves. Accordingly, the Dwemer exploited the Snow Elves, making them sort of slaves. For the reason that of being too long underground the Snow Elves started to obtain that weird shape. If I’m not wrong for the reason that of being too long underground, they became blind OR the dwemer blinded them. Subsequently at the moment the Snow Elves are known as Falmers, since they don't look similar to Elves anymore, however look like Goblins, like a Smeagol or something like that. There isn’t Goblins in Skyrim because they won't survive the weather; they are additional adapted for "warmer" places, such as Cyrodiil. To people don't fail to spot the Goblins, Bethesda replaced them through Falmers, which in my opinion have a superior "Story" of how they turn out to be what they are at the moment, and they are kind of creepier than Goblins.
