GPU Temperature increase while playing the Anno 2070

Hello friends, I had a problem with the demo, my primary card up to about 98 C degree. obviously it's a little too hot. The commercial version seemed to be around 85, but then I checked later and said MSI 89. Is it a common problem? Any other person also finding that their cards to be hot like me is getting finding it? Taste the game, but cannot continue playing if you are trying to configure my computer on fire.
The following are specification which I am using it:

• OS: Windows 7
• Processor: Intel i7 970
• RAM: 16GB DDR3
• Graphics Card: 2 x GTX 580's SLI

I think that it might be something to do with SLI. I am running a GTX 460 1GB, and the configuration at the highest and I have resolution of 4x AA @ 1080p, my graphics card is quiet and cool (which sounds like an airplane when I play Battlefield 3). Have you attempt to disable the SLI, is really not necessary unless you are playing at resolutions higher than 1080p.

Yes you might be correct as I am running the game at 1920x1080. I think that the game might does not need any of the cards for it, but I will give a try to it and make it try for me.

Definitely do not need both 1x GTX 570 atm running around max @ 1920x1200, works like a magic on large maps with several players and in many cities. Temps of around 45-55 fans very quiet (although Frozr III is a dual fan cooler in a cold room temperature).

That is very common to stimulate X-fire or SLI motherboard to heat up. You should still be able to run SLI and temperature control fan speed with the MSI. In addition to the new card is more than normal at that temperature.

You really cannot go on your card. Because I've had three of these cards and they all work at a lower temperature than any other card out there. Cards are great too.

If disabling SLI does not work, then you should consider cooling solution. SLI is more difficult to obtain adequate cooling, especially for the top card / principal in his case, mostly. PCI-side fan or fan may help. Etc.
