    How to change FOV permanently in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

    I am thinking to go as of the default to 80. I have read somewhere that if I change that from console will be permanent. So I tried to do the same but when I closed and opened the game again then it get reset. I want to ask that if this is in the .ini setting. Please reply as soon as possible.

    There is one more nway to get this done. In both SkyrimPrefs.ini and Skyrim.ini in your savegame folder (not in the game install folder), go to the “Display” section and there you will have to add both of these lines

    fdefaultfov=90
    fDefaultWorldFOV=90

    You can set the FOV as you like, these above are set to 90. I hope that this will be helpful to you.
