You just need to install the latest version of DirectX version on your pc and then this error related to directx will be solved. You can download the same from here.Originally Posted by umar87

The solution to the problem of "Failed to load library "d3dx9_42.dll" was what i was eluding to. However the solution is simple which is to install the directx that comes with the game and it works.
The game laging even tho i meet the requirements is a problem that still persists! Anyone able to help would be highly appreciated
