APPCRASH DunDefGame.exe in Dungeon Defenders

I really wanted to play Dungeon Defenders. But this particular game is seems to be crashing. I am not able to figure out why the above mentioned issue is happening? Any help to figure out the root cause of the matter will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Well looking at the matter which you have stated over here I am asking following questions. Which operating system do you running? What is the hardware configuration of the computer? can you provide the log file of the crashing? Also let me know if you are aware of any other information which will help me out to figure out the root cause of the issue.

In this particular situation I am suggesting that you should simply check the integrity of the game cache.

• You should load the Steam on the computer of yours.
• Now you have to click on the Library section and now you have to right click on the game and click on Properties from the right click Context menu.
• You have to click on the Local files tab and click on the Verify integrity of the game cache.

Once you have done the same see whether the issue is persisting or not.

To resolve the issue I recommend that you should run the game as an Administrator of the computer. you have to look for the exe file of the game and right click on the same and select run as administrator of the game.

I am not sure whether the below mentioned thing is working or not. you should simply reinstall the redistributables which are needed for the game Dungeon Defenders. It is located at the following location.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dungeon defenders\Binaries\Redist\UE3Redist.exe
Once you have done the same you should see whether the above mentioned thing is working or not.

There could be compatibility issue with the game and the operating system which you have installed on the computer.

I am suspecting that there is a back ground process running on the computer which is might be the root cause of the problem. Well what I wanted to tell you is that you should clean boot the computer of yours and after doing the same tell me about the experience of yours.

Also tell me whether there is any antivirus software installed on the computer of yours. if so than you should disable the same and see the difference. If the issue is resolved than you should configure the antivirus program to fix the matter of yours.

You should reinstall the graphic card drivers on the computer of yours. also you should install the latest version of DirectX on the computer. once you have completed with the installation you should restart the computer.

I think you need to reinstall the game as well as Steam on the computer of yours. same as above mentioned post you should restart the computer of yours after completing with the process.

This game is recently released and hence there could be bug issue with the game. what I wanted to tell you is that you should contact the developer of the game and file a bug report to them. The developer of the game will work on the same and release the patch which you can apply to fix the matter. well I am hoping that the developer of the game will fix the bug issue and release the patch as early as possible.
