| re: England overrated in Football Manager 2012
At first glance, yes. But, do you think the English players are more valued for their clubs? For example, Terry is too good for Chelsea in the game? Rooney is more performance for Manchester United? The same applies to Gerard, Lampard, either Coles, SWP, Lennon, et al. If your club figures roughly translate to game statistics that correspond closely with the IRL, then no, the England team can not be over-rated in the game. On the contrary, "demonstrates" how massively under-performed IRL players in the World Cup - not to mention those of France, Italy, a certain "star of the game" elsewhere. A lack of enforcement of chance 'is the summer, players can not be bothered "reduction of the statistics when it comes to international competitions, there is nothing to do with the apparent imbalance, where some national team players are concerned. |

For clubs, no. However, their performance in the WC / EURO is really bad, not once but several times. Especially Rooney. Gerard and Lampard least goals (SI) and some good passes, but as for Rooney, all I remember is that he lost that opportunity and bought the tickets before the game. I think France is also a bit overrated. As for Italy, which did not really have good young players now? |

The South Korean team would have had some players who were world-class mind after the 2002 World Cup. In Europe, teams can play like 10 times every game they do in the world cup. A lot of times like that competitions can be based on the way by the fact that only about a month or so long..... A lot can happen during the season from August to say. |

In response to the OP, then yes they are overrated - just look at the attributes of John Terry, for example. In England, everyone says it is the best league in the world.... the best marketing / seen then yes - but the EPL is played at a fast pace - the PLA is good at what he does - a high pace - no time to kick the ball and run often - not the best team because talented foreign players who can really control the game. I'm not saying that English players are horrible - but they are meant to be better than they really are. Just look at the success rate of English players abroad - very low. And many foreign players to other players on the team look better than they really are. As remnants of John Terry Carvalho and drop deep to John Terry to do the unpleasant job - but Carvalho reads the game well and often spreads much on the situation - but MOTD will focus on the Gerrards, Lampard and Rooney is this world and show us snippets to make it look like they ran the show, etc! Do not misunderstand me the likes of Rooney, Gerrards, Lampard, Terry and Rio are excellent players and world class, but their games are perfect for the English game. But Gerard's team in Barcelona and not greater influence and the same for the other players - such as European football - especially in Spain, Italy, Germany, Argentina, Brazil - is a technique much more based on participation and the great skill that is not dependent on physical attributes, such as the EPL - look at Barca and Xavi inkiest - weak physically, but a great technique. Just look at Verona at Manchester United and what happened, Berbatov to Manchester United in a degree, Forlan at Manchester United - it could continue. If the English football as a high state of the last 5 years and has done well, but the number of foreigners has helped make what has become a good one. |

I think the shadow leech is irrelevant (perhaps on purpose?). Yes, the England team works in FM10 (and has in all previous incarnations), as it should work. It is no exaggeration, players are evaluated the same way it should be - used to play-up every time you wear the England shirt. Coding is in international management would make a real headache, I guess. |

I feel the same way at times that some of the attributes of the players are a little off. I know I did not say so directly, but that is what is starting to sound like me.... many would prefer not to put words in his mouth though. That said it still does not justify reducing the mental state of players who consistently perform more than one season of 8 months, just because they have a difficult month in the summer every 2 years or less. |

If you mean all the English players, I think the opposite may be true, someone else in FMNorthAmerica An analysis of the Mexican players, American and English in the database, what they found was that England had the highest number first class players from the three (fairly accurate, I would) but after that there was a strong decline to the point where England lags behind when it comes to world-7s. |

The problem is that, individually and in their clubs are great players and are strong mentally, FM not have separate statistics for international matches. Unless there were two sets of hidden mental attributes one international and one for the performance of the club, but that would be a bad idea to take a lot of research as most players will only differ slightly. |

In terms of the important attributes of the match in the game. Rooney has played better than Ronaldo in big games throughout his career and still does. I think it must be greater than Rooney Ronaldo in that attribute, not much but something. Ronald has played well in several big games as you mentioned, but I've already mentioned like many in the course of last season for Rooney. There are a lot more than previous seasons Rooney, as well as games against Rome in 2007 and 2008, Milan in 2007, Arsenal several times and at the end of the Carling Cup 2006. That is obviously just my opinion, although |
