List of Games that are Compatible and incompatible with Windows 8

I have recently installed windows 8 on my machine and I have not yet installed any new games on it and I have heard that there are some games that are not working with windows 8 so I just wanted to know that which are the games that are Compatible and incompatible with Windows 8.Any suggestion regarding this will be appreciated.

I have tested some games and below is the list of the games that does not work well in windows 8:

• Super Street Fighter 4 does not work and gives you a black screen
• Darkvoid does not work and gives you a black screen
• Minecraft does not work and result in crash
• Sims does not work.

I have played the following games and they surely work well with windows 8:

• Left 4 Dead 1
• Left 4 Dead 2
• Counter strike source
• Crysis 2
• Civilization V (on steam)

Yes I am quite sure about the Civilization V as I have played it yesterday but I have found that the Black Ops is not working and it seems as there is some kind of problem with the graphic card might be some incompatibility issue. I have tried playing it by changing every setting that I could have nut nothing worked for me if have found that the fan of the video card automatically stops for some times and then automatically starts after some time. I have checked the specification of my pc as well and they look fine as well but then I don’t know what the main issue is. Is there anyone who has found a way out for Black Ops in windows 8.

What I have found is that most of the Aeria games are not working and some other games which are working, just take a look below:
Not working:

• Shaiya
• Dynasty Warriors Online
• Age of Empires online
• Wolf Team
  AVA

Working:

• Team fortress 2
• Warhammer 40k Space Marine

I have found the following:
Diablo: Does Not working and does not even starts and after Minimizing it you wont be able to turn it off.I don’t know why and later you have to use the Task manager to actually close it or turn it off
Diablo 2: Game starts but then it crashes after the introduction.
Diablo 2 LoD expansion pack: The games start and you can even create a player to play the game but as soon as you create a player and then try to enter the game then the game crashes.

My testing for the Call of duty series is as followed:
Call of duty MW: The game does not even starts and you have to use the task manager to close the game because it does not get close when you minimize it at the task bar.
Call of duty MW2: The games start well with the introduction but then suddenly get crashed after the introduction.
Call of duty WaW: The game starts but then it just get stuck at the start itself and then you will have to use task manager to close the program.
Call of duty Black Ops: The game does not start like the Call of duty MW and you have to use the task manager to close it.

Fable 3: You can play it well in offline but then the game gets crashed when you try to play it online.
Fable the Lost Chapters: The game works well without any problem.
Halo CE: The game works well in both online and offline mode
Halo 2: You can play it offline but when you try to play it online it will show you connecting to the server and then it get crashed.
Quake 4: Has been the worst to me the game started and then instantly got crashed and then rebooted the machine as well.

My results with The MMO's are as followed:
Cabal online: The game starts and then you can login as well but it keeps connecting to the server and does not connect at all.
SkyCabal: The game keeps searching for the server but does not actually connects
Lost Chaos: The game keeps searching for the server but does not actually connects
Combat Arms: The game starts well but then it lags
Crossfire: The game gets stuck at the start and then you have to use the task manger to close it.
