How to build Mage in Dragon Age II: Mark of the Assassin DLC

Sponsored Links
I wonder how to build my mage, mostly on the offensive side. I'm thinking of being a magician of the Force and the Wizard of blood or spirit healer, and focus primarily on the Elemental tree, unlocking all spells and upgrade there. Then, I will choose rock armor, Tempest, and Chain Lightning (and updating of the two) of the Elder Tree and Mind Blast and crushing imprisonment (both updated) Arcane tree. It will also focus on the filling of the spells of my specialties. How does all that sound?

In my opinion healing spirit is useless for almost every game. It's much better to focus on the control area of effect and gradually reduce the battlefield rather than prolong the struggle through the slow healing that offers healing spirit. Remember, you can not cast offensive spells while in spirit mode healer.

Less nightmare, just use any spell that has the most enjoyable entertainment. To nightmare, I'd recommend planning your generation to include the CCC, I'm partial to wobble chain lightning and crushing stagger the prison, but there are a lot of different things that you can play, it really explains why you should use depends on how they have the rest of his partly built.

To each his own. Ultimately, it depends on your own personal preference for the "best" mage build .. it all depends on how you play the game, however to help someone here is my current setup: I beat the game as a warrior so im prove the magician now, just get to level 15, literally an hour ago to the maximum Primal: The stonefish is effective against single enemies and can be used frequently. Chain Lightning somewhat effective against the enemies of one but of course, intends to AOE, well, however. Tempest decent AOE hurts and has a wide range. Petrify one of the best CC in the game. As for the armor of rock I've been hearing a lot of controversy behind it but when you completely primary update, RA ranges from 25% to 125% armor, but all momentum. Furthermore, when comparing the Arcane Shield RA, RA uses 10% of the manna in the AS uses 20%. By allowing the AR I chose to use the weapon upgrade telekinetic who is also 10%. No arcane shield me wrong is still pretty good when fully renovated, but I'd rather have the armor bonus (for me) + the weapon upgrade (for me), using the same amount of mana. Healer: If you know how to effectively control your party members during combat, it really does not need healing spirit specifications. Like a magician i fully upgraded the priest in the creation. As long as the tank is taking all the damage, creating healing + health potions are good enough. Secondary Spells: Mago effect and I'm not complaining, Fist of the manufacturer (IMO) is more effective than Mind Blast, + you can also learn virtually unbreakable makes you immune to falls or "other effects that interrupt the fight." I plan on maxing out horror of entropy for 2 reasons: first because it is a good DC, and the latter is fully updated does incredible damage over time. For Arcane, telekinetic weapons besides, I also want the most out of jail for crushing, as it is one of the best attacks one enemy in the game.

Primal is a good school season, except at the end of Act 1, where you face a dungeon full of bugs immune to spell damage. Primal also has the advantage of being able to take advantage of the CCC through another chain lightning and stonefish improved, and the establishment of other characters through Petrify CCC date. Several trees benefit greatly magician a small bathroom in them. Entropy can get your horror and the curse of Torment with ease. You can pick up immediately from the tree healing of creation. Of course, the problem with wizards is their horrible without synergistic specializations. Heck, the spirit healer and magician of blood could also be anti-synergy. Spiritual healer requires you to give up casting offensive spells if you want to use there. Which means, you better really like the Tree of Creation, because that's all you will get. Sure, you do not have to be in Aura healing, but then, what is the point of getting the expertise? You can also put points in other skills less circumstantial.

Wizard of blood is less terrible than the Spirit Healer, but still pretty bad. Mostly because of the requirements of Willpower for the team. This means you have to put many points, many on the force of will (31 or 32 needed to end the game). This means you have less constitution. But it gets better! For sustainable and eat a percentage of mana, you have half the mana given by all points on the strength of will. Add to that the support you need or want to fight and you'll be lucky if you have 20% of their maximum mana available if you have to turn off the blood magic. There is nothing wrong with wizards or Hawke as a magician. But there's nothing particularly good about them, either. Hawke is pretty mediocre, like a magician, compared with the potential for a rogue or warrior. NPC mages do the job as good (or better) Margery Hawke can, so that the whole exercise becomes irrelevant.

I do not know about you, but I really liked Spirit heals, changes in and out when I have to heal .. Manna is not a problem for me .. So when I have to heal, I will uphold the spirit and heal, revive, etc. after cured, turn the spirit of healing and DPSagain .. This way I can carry Anders as another cast, things really really fast with Merril dies, Anders and Hawke (magician), Aveline as a tank .. The easy part. Almost god mode.
