Which Monster is essential in Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter

For me, it gelatinous cubes, and their cousins in the jelly, slime mold and variety. I have nothing but love for the cube and nothing would make my dungeon crawl better than a run in that bucket. Hell, I'd love to have a mini-pet for company!

The advantage of a fantasy game above any other is that it can (and should) have a wide variety of monsters. So the more the merrier. Dragons, of course, make the cut, along with the classic D & D. Not sure if the Orcs are a playable race, but there are humanoids to collect

As few so far have said Rust Monster. The most innocent creature ever spawned. Cargo brave hero and attack and suddenly the sword you just bought a wonderful start to fall apart in your hands. Blocking a shot of the tail with his shield and you notice that your home brightly painted crest shed with the rest of his shield. So much fun with the monsters of oxidation.

As this seems to me the quintessence of Realmsian Kobolds I have to say, well they are mostly humanoid bad enough, but deekin was the exception to the rule and its franchise because of the BG what kind of fell in love with them they are so adorable.

I am a big fan of driders and was the second thing that helped me put in NWN 1 before the official release of Hordes Bioware. The hakpack drider was incredibly popular and Luna-c did a great job with the addition on the climb as the output and animations. perhaps an opportunity that might be able to convince the developers to make perhaps a characteristic of the child once every few weeks and just a toss up on the game screen shot of a monster in the game and maybe a little information (for those who do not know what something is, just a cut / paste from the Monster Manual should be fine)

It would be good to see (or not as the case may be) some animals there is something inherently creepy shifter and fun about trying to hit something that is not what it seems. It also mimics it is worrying when the treasure chest is that you eat. Likewise, all wererats werebears Lycans, werepanthers, werewolves, wolfweres, werebats, Lythari elves, etc.

I love some classic monsters. Everyone in my game knows it's only a matter of time before they break the displacer beasts, trolls, owl bears and Bullett. The more of these classic monsters we can use in our foundry, the happier I will be. In this game I think the rust monsters are the best. Good mid-level challenge to heroic. Oxidation have a defense and the ability to devour a subject that is subject to oxidation. However, with only about 66 HPS who goes on a lap or two to a party that plays tactics. What really are the hope of meetings that bring together several synergistic creatures, which ends with the dazed creatures and other bad things that make people numb.

I like human beings as enemies to the whole range of levels. Other races or PC depending on the context. Not that I like dragons, monsters mindflayers as (and I use them when necessary), but intelligent humanoids are more unpredictable, more easily allow moral dilemmas, betrayal and other fun stuff.

I want subtypes of monsters. As a shield Kobold Dragon Wyrm and the priest. I do not want each to be just a Kobold Kobold. Oh, and henchmen! I want to be surrounded by about 20 guys who can cut through me like wheat. I think that was one of the biggest things I like about 4e monsters where different types of monster same basis.

Definitely nightmares. I would also like to see a good variety of monsters wandering in the wild. A Burette occasionally would be nice. Oh, and Naga would be great. You can not forget the githyanki and Salads. Probably not essential, but fun.
