First impression of NBA 2K12 game

Sponsored Links
For those with the game, please post your impressions. As I started playing this game and I lost the game bad! It was 23-25 after one quarter and hit the fan in the second. Rosa fought, and Noah got into early foul trouble, so he was killed on the boards. It is as if the team had the objective of which was controlled defense. It was embarrassingly obvious that he knew he could not "d" so far. I could not play at all BC Korver screens call the ball (this year they really do not fight through screens that do not change the allocation) and iso melo on the block. I did not get to the foul line late and it honestly felt like the referees were trying to balance the calls.

Re: First impression of NBA 2K12 game

I was in Chicago against best team. I played 30 minutes in the quarter% real in the two free throws and shots: the bounce is hard, I was stubborn until the third quarter and did not rebound until he started to box out. Commentary is good! Kerr spoke of his days at GM and how they interviewed and hired Tibs wished Chicago. The presentation is easy on the camera angles over several games. Plays on the Dpad is different and will take some getting used to. A quick "little" thing, Korver ran from an "off-ball" touch screen of another player and completely ruined my game.

Re: First impression of NBA 2K12 game

Just start playing. I can say this ... If you thought the show was a bit difficult to control, you'll love the full game. It is much better. In addition, Oklahoma fans do not feel up to Thunder score a basket. A nice touch by 2K. You really need to be aware of counterfeits of the pump. Shooters get up in the air, leaning toward you, and draw fouls. Dirk just drew two quick Ibaka. Shutter release is much better. 2K11 was not very accurate in my opinion. This year, almost need to hold the stick back until the ball is at the fingertips of the shooter. The player models are much better overall, the game is graphically great. You will see the small details of the diffusion chamber. A nice addition is that there are more faults in shooting jump shots. Like Westbrook, who left a screen, the defender caught me, and stole the ball while I was on a shot that resulted in a lack and a nice animation with Westbrook shaking hands in the air after being attacked. I loved it, there is a real risk and reward for running the break and crash offensive rebounds.. Forcing the opponent to make more bridges. The AI is very intelligent when it comes to attacking their star players. The key here is that, once again, play basketball as real. They are rewarded for finding the open shooter. In my case, because I play with Oklahoma, Thabo is left open a lot, because escorts tones Durant. Although Thabo is a mediocre shooter, if you can get the ball to him on these points, which will open looks.

Anyway I've been playing for the last 6 hours of jumping and I'll give you some random thoughts. The players look so real ... how to move and rotate to do anything ... It just looks good ... hard to explain, but I've never done anything, if trying to save a step, block a shot, etc.

Commentary is the best I've heard in any sports game to date. The game is great, better than last year's game, the AI requires setting his plays or you pay, I have like 20 turnovers, because I'm trying to walk past a defender, I am very pleased with the AI is so smart. This game is going to have me and you busy and happy, not only this year but for some, that's how good this game is.

Re: First impression of NBA 2K12 game

First, let me say that the NBA 2k12 is all that was advertised. I've only played one game so it's a very limited sample size, but gets started. The game is very smooth. If you thought the demo was smooth construction that will love the real game. The players move well and have a weighted feel them. As you know playing with the Sacramento Kings and they all played and felt true to themselves. A warning to all those who have not received the game, however, be prepared to play defense. Once your score is preparing to play a little d. Seemed particularly difficult for me to see that I had the best defensive team. I played against the Bucs, and made sure it was Stephen Jackson often and that was killing Salmons. I fell in love with a lot of fakes, because I'm not used to seeing them from the CPU, which is great.

Another thing of beauty is rebounding. In fact, developer has to work on the boards this year. If no box of your men out, kids rebound off him at all times. I was standing around waiting to jump and grab a table and Bogut just ran right pass me on numerous occasions by the Board of offense. Speaking of bouncing, the ball seems to have a new feel to it. It seems that the ball bounces off the ring differently for some reason, as if they have to get the position and see the ball rebound (sample size so that one will contact you after played more games).

Re: First impression of NBA 2K12 game

Very quickly, the game has changed a lot since 2K11. It's like I'm playing a different game. Currently for my first game is Me / Lakers vs Los Angeles heat 5 minutes Room for Pro / Sim settings and I'm down at 1, 7-15. I currently running irregularly. Wade goes to the hole like no tomorrow. Bosh is shooting his 8 to 10 feet lout bridges and LBJ that is everywhere. The movement is smooth as silk and yes it is different from the demonstration by a substantial margin IMO. The graphics are insane, as usual.

Re: First impression of NBA 2K12 game

The gameplay is smooth as hell man. It feels great. The demo does not have a candle to the full game. Shooting still well. I realized Artest, Kobe, Shannon Brown, and Barnes all have new carpet photos. I really dig sig now Artest shot. Iso-stroke still feels good. i was still able to get a couple of moves I'm used to doing. Still getting used to the post game. I thought the triangle change is felt weird, but I'm used to it. One thing I dislike is that they took out the point of emphasis or can be used when waiting times or call. I guess they did because of the new strategies on the fly that put in. However, I liked the POE and I miss it. What I like is that u can make all the defensive adjustments during timeouts. so u can set the pressure or want a specific player, or you can set how you want to defend the pick and roll and how much you want to round coverage during the waiting time. So now there is more of a reason to choose whether to call a time out or a full 20 seconds.

Re: First impression of NBA 2K12 game

The game is incredible. It has been said that although there is a huge set of 2K11 is still improved in many areas. D play is difficult. To be more specific to be in front of your man is hard. The players seem to weigh so when it moves as if they had their time. This can be a good thing and a bad thing. You can be in front of defense more difficult, but can make it easier too. Just learn to do it. Works can be successful, but you have to learn. There are so many options that you will not know what to do if you do not know the game. There are still some times when you get the game canceled or players simply stop the execution of the work. I guess it's an example of the work of breaking down.

Re: First impression of NBA 2K12 game

These are my following impression on the game: Gameplay-You really have to play the game to feel the difference. It's so soft and smooth compared to last year's edition. Dodge chaining and the message moves along the exhaust injection pulse dribbling and shooting, so everything feels smoother and more organic. The AI will burn again this year. Your AI teammates are much more intelligent too. Make smart passes. The PU will make you pay for not making smart passes. The CPU also helps a lot closer to their star players USER. Playing for the Bulls vs 76ers I found a pick and roll with Noah and his twin joined Rose at the high post, he did more than once, trying to neutralize. CPU teams play to their strengths and get your star the ball a lot. Play against the Lakers as Kobe is ball hog. I hope your good in transition, because in the upper levels of the CPU to push the ball in front of you. It will also carry the ball to the hoop often given the chance. The pump head counterfeiting and faking by the CPU is welcome. You'll be in the air and draw the foul. CPU also exploit mismatches quickly. Having a PG or SG or PF guarding a CPU c receive the ball after scoring man. Faults are also called to a real rate. This is not all that much improvement has been made CPU. As good as the CPU was last year even better. The CPU is not perfect, but damn its end. -Controls The controls are very sensitive. Things have looked a little awkward at times, but it has more to do with me not being used for all the controls yet. The way that you can now drop the chain moves this year is incredible. The difference in playing with people like D-Rose and Kirk Hinrich is very noticeable. The presentation is also amazing. There are plenty of statistics covered all through the game in partnership. Halftime Show gives results in the league with a comment. In a 76ers playoff game vs. Toros people were doing "Network". The TV bit of the demo was also presented in the first quarter for me. Rose was presented and Jrue Holliday interacting. Different introductions in the game will keep the game fresh.

Re: First impression of NBA 2K12 game

What i just experienced is the first time! Gasol and the Mavs were Haywood by rebound and Gasol put the forearm in the back of Haywood to try to sneak in a draw and Haywood fell to the ground face forward and Gasol was called for the foul. Gasol returns in the court with bowed head.
