    In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is not required DirectX 10/11

    The upcoming games required and going to support DirectX 10 and 11 . But source did not require DirectX 9 because of the console support and also u can’t say that CS players don't care about graphics- the better graphics is the first reason why public switched from 1.6 to Counter Strike Source..For supported latest graphic card why isn't valve updating their source engine?

    Source is updated in a number of main fashions with nearly all Valve titles. The edition of Source used in Portal 2 is miles to the lead of the edition used in the Orange Box, which was much improved than that used in HL2. The Source engine was planned to be modular so that new idea can be executed without a whole new technique built around it. Source keeps looking improved and still has a way to go before it's entirely spent. CS:GO will be using the latest Portal 2, version of Source, which looks superior than most other engines. Source is also one of the mainly optimized and smoothest running game engines. I have no issues about what Valve does with Source, even if it isn't officially DX10/11.

    Valve in actuality has no reason to update to DX10/11. They have in no way actually paying attention on approaching the limits of graphics hardware, just on creating excellent games. Plus the income would be marginal at best (somewhat better shadows and some tessellation probably) and add one more renderer that Valve would have to maintain and fix bugs in. I'm sure it'll come finally, but DX9 still gets the work complete rightly well.

    Look like Direct X11 in winner. Not much increase the visual increase, but due to doing things more professionally than Direct X10/9, as well as natively supporting multithreading, DX11 users saw a large performance increase. At least they give us the choice of using DX11 for additional performance rather than graphical improvement.

    Direct X 10 does not include much at all, visually. The most excellent, most notable change with Direct X 11 is tessellation which includes "deepness" to the world. As noted in a few of those links, tessellation can also come with a enormous performance reduce. While it would be "good" to have that in CS: GO, I don't think it is essential for the Developers to be concerned about adding it in.

    a lot of public have computers that do not hold up Direct X 10 or 11. This does not signify that they will not be able to execute CS:GO. Valve won't keep out DX9 only potential players until it is far obsolete. Similarly, those with computers that do hold up DX 10 and/or 11 are approximately definitely able to use DX 9 as well. Ergo, no require to begin supporting DX 10 and 11 yet. As I said DirectX 11 isn’t used correctly in present games. That’s typically because of the existing console generation being unable to explain such effects because of their pathetic hardware power.If latest consoles would come out one could see the exact graphic power of the DirectX11 API. Saying that DirectX11 don’t insert much to visuals is just brainless.
