First impressions of Serious Sam 3: BFE

I think this has the potential to become the best of the series, both in terms of technology and feel of the game in general. There is only one step, but a marathon of 100 miles of speed in the right direction. From the standpoint of playing around with beta versions, this one definitely stands out in comparison with others. Croteam and Sam, the two have matured. That's how I had imagined before SS2 proved a cartoon with a sense of polish to it. What surprises me most so far, I guess, is how Croteam succeeded in creating open spaces that are used in their previous games in the new SS. - But I do not work very clean-looking levels and pre-designed to do nothing but provide a space for enemies, but the level design and construction considerations for the struggles go together here as never before.

Re: First impressions of Serious Sam 3: BFE

I had my reservations about SERIOUS SAM 3 at first, but now that I've tried it myself, I think the changes were justified. The gameplay feels much different from previous games, especially when you start playing. His point of view "wobble" more and more environmental interaction, all kinds of small changes. As a former player of great difficulty, had to change my style of game much like the weapon change is slower and you have to wait to recharge and all, but I think the end result is quite satisfactory. You can still make classic moves such as shotgunning kleers with one shot and so on, and serious feel Sam is still there, just updated. And the levels look and feel great that I liked. All the weapons feel useful and there are more ways to play. The only thing I dislike is therefore infinite sprint, as it may be spam as much as you want (so far), but at least you can not fire weapons while doing so.

The most impressive I've seen of the trailer is that immersion seems to be at its highest point exponentially. I have never seen urban settings like this in a serious game and Sam never seems simply incredible. The realism of a person witnessing an alien invasion on Earth is only by so sure.

This is the game we've all been waiting for. It took everything I loved about the original games and made it feel new and exciting. For anyone concerned about the sprints and recharge - stop worrying. These features add a new dynamic to the classic gameplay of Serious Sam, without sacrificing the top of the action we all love. Sprinting Sam mobility increases dramatically, and makes the game feel much faster pace in general. This is very good considering the size and the levels are open. Reload adds a strategic element to battles over. Whereas before everything had to consider the weapons to use in which the enemies who now have to consider also whether we will have the opportunity to reload. And if not, is better than one. It really keeps you alert and only amplifies the action rather than slows down. In one of the more recent waves of screenshots we have seen a picture of NETRICSA. Some people were disappointed with the lack of information seemed to give.

I wonder if there is still the old type of health pack, like the box of 50 hp and the heart. I mean everything seems to lie on one side in the blocks and other things too, I think it would be nice to see you around randomly, as in the classics and the same for weapons collection.

I am a user rather not beta. I want everything to be special when the game launches. Without knowing a couple of levels and things ahead of time. I have hope for a new style menu ... Sam Graves menus has always been boring. I also hope to allow the music to continue while stopped and Netricsa ... It annoyed the hell out of me when Netricsa was silent. Perhaps a button to invoke Netricsa music on / off.

Re: First impressions of Serious Sam 3: BFE

Can anyone confirm that you will SERIOUS SAM 3 for X360 and PS3 as a commercial version, and, of course, as the release of PC sales? I'll buy it on all platforms, as I did SSFE / SSSE on PC, Xbox, and of course the HD versions of PC and retail steam. I'm really looking for the console versions retail for this game, and of course I'll buy the PC version at retail (if released), but the console versions retail are also important.

I think a version for the 360, soon after the PC version has been confirmed, but I have not heard anything about a PS3 release. There was a request in the past to get new high-definition versions for the PS3, but there was not much response.

I am most impressed! Although I have a question you should ask to beta-tester: Is it more hard to win the game of "single" mode?
