How to launch A game of Thrones: Genesis?

I have got the game and i have also started it and i am getting the picture of the feller and later a blank screen as well but after this it just stuck and i have to just wait and when i trier to end the process using the task manager it says that the game is still running.Is there any one who have experienced the same problem and have came up with a solution for it.Any help regarding this will be appreciated.

Hope you are aware of the minimum system requirement of this game:
Ram: 1024MB
Graphic card: 256MB
Operating system(s): xp/Vista/7
Hard disk space: 8000MB.
just check yours.

I am having the same problem and i am very well aware of the minimum and the recommended system requirement for this game.My system configuration is as followed"

• Windows 7 x64
• Processor:
• Intel Quad Core Q9300 @ 2.50GHz
• Memory:
• 8 GB Corsair Dominator
• Motherboard:
• Asus Striker II
• Graphics Card::
• nVidia GTX 580 S/C
• Soundcard:
• Creative X-Fi Gamer.

and it should definitely work with this configuration but its not.

Even i have the same problem and i have also checked my system configuration and it should probably work with it but when i am launching the game from the steam than the two-knives kiddo appears for a while and then i get a error message saying that some problem occurred and then the game goes off.I have also been through the technical part and my drivers and all are up to date to work for game of Thrones but i don't know where is the problem and i am still trying to find it out.Any suggestion regarding this will be appreciated.

I think i have a solution for it.What all you have to do is just go to My documents and then will find a folder "Agot"
and now in that folder just edit the "config.xml" file using the notepad and just make the following changes:<Cinematics>
<Enable>1</Enable>
</Cinematics>
to
<Cinematics>
<Enable>0</Enable>
</Cinematics>
I have found that this problem was because the game is not able to handle 1920X1200 for cinematics but after changing the above you wont face the same problem again.Best of luck.

I was having the same problem and the above solution have helped to solve it out but not completely sorting because after successfully editing the cinematic's what i have found is that the game is able to load after the black screen but only in a 1024x768 and it is not able to run in the full screen,if you are having a idea about this then please share it with us.Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.Thanks in advance.
