Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 trains very slow in Steam

I am trying to play Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 on Steam. There is a problem in the steam edition. I am trying to run the train at maximum speed. But they won't go ahead 13.7 miles per hours. Does steam scenarios are causing the issue. I had tried various button combination to find out the issue but that is not working. I want some help here.

That is weird. I am not sure about that. I am playing the game and it works really well. There is no issue withe the gameplay. In your cause that speed would be standard. You had not mentioned what speed you are getting on the regular pc mode. Is that was higher than what you had mentioned. Different trains have different speeds. You can try playing all the levels to find out what is the maximum speed you can achieve.

To get a bit more speed try a steam train. They are fast compare tothe regular one. If steam generation is too high then there are chances of having a good speed. The blowers here are great for getting extra energy if the safety valve open. I will recommend you to check the train manual first so that you can get maximum information on driving it.
