Age of Empires Online NO SOUND Please help

I'm having problems with AoEo. I have no in-game sound. I have sound up until the point where I pick my nation. After the load screen into the capital city....no sound.

I'm running Windows XP, my sound card drivers are up to date. Windows updates are up to date. Games for Windows Live interface HAS sound. In game settings are at the max and on.

Does anyone have any ideas.

I think it seems to be a performance issue in your pc? What is the computer specifications of your computer? Does it meets with the games system requirements? Have you tried updating the the directx version of your pc? Update your windows xp to the latest service pack 3. Try updating the game as well, if it autoupdates. Try to uninstall the game, create a new user profile and then re-install the game in the new user profile account.
