Impacts of Historical Events in Tropico 4

On the box of the Tropico 3, it says that, the story continues with events such as the Cuba crisis, papal visits and other critical real historical events. But in the real game, the events referred to on the radio only and not have a real impact. Anyone have any more idea about this historical event?

Here my suggestion is that an expansion pack for Tropico 4 or a future, perhaps several actual historical events in Latin America may have an effect on the game (change in export prices / import, unlock new buildings, forces him to choose a side with the great powers, etc.) during the campaign or a sandbox game? There campaign settings, where many of the above have a significant impact. I was thinking something like a choice of "historical facts" that can be activated or deactivated, in which these events affect their island in different ways.

I'm really looking forward to new challenge by the manufacturer. I really hope it’s more user friendly than before. I guess it will work. I was more suggesting a new mechanism that can be included in the sandbox game. Personally, I think will be a nice feature and add to the gaming experience.
