Not able to do 2v2 matchmaking with friends in age of empires online

Hello guys as we all know that this game is released but can someone please explain why you are not able to do matchmaking with a friend / co-op for 2v2. Why must I do random partner 2v2, in order to do ranked 2v2. Such a stupid design choice, I really hope this gets changed or added in the future, this was only purpose I got the game was to play with friend. Does anyone have any idea about it. I hope that someone will clear my doubt.

Hello I am having the same question. It's like others are complaining regarding 3v3 and 4v4 not being implemented which makes sense why it’s not, for the reason that it is not in the code yet. However you already have 2v2 matchmaking pvp, with random teammates, and you have the co-op functionality, I’m just not seeing why it would be hard to add co-op to 2v2 matchmaking. So I think developer have to think about this.

Hello guys I can feel your pain but still it’s not a developer issue. I read somewhere that they are working on it. And as soon as possible they are going to include this for us. So it will come in future. So don’t make issue of it. Just have some Patience. And then enjoy 1v1/2v2 for the time being. I hope this will clear your confusion about it. If you are still confuse then contact with the developer of this game and ask them about it.
