Need list of offline multiplayer ps 3 games

I have ordered playstation 3 which will arrive anytime in few days. Currently I am playing games on Xbox 360 and pc. I need the information regarding the games which are playable on the playstation 3. I like to play racing games and action games. I want to purchase the games which has offline multiplayer that I need co-op multiplayer games so I can play it with my friends and not over the internet. So can anyone please post the list of the games which has offline multiplayer co –op mode?

I like to play games over playstation 3. I like to play multiplayer game over internet. So one of the games which has good multiplayer mode is portal 2 in which there is two player co-op modes. It’s really enjoyable while playing with the family member or friends. Other game is smack down vs. raw where you can play the game with more than 4 players at a time. I think the maximum supported players in co-op mode are 8. Not sure about it but I think 8 players can play the game at same time in co-op mode.
