Supreme Ruler Cold War: Is the daily hour clock gone

Since the game is intended to cover 50 years is effectively the day time clock will be out? I know the speed is inherently faster (as with any game engine update), but is it enough for the game lasts more than 5 years slower than we saw in 2020? As a related matter, be the unit of "control" area will be renovated to improve efficiency? Is anyone has any idea about this? I really need to know more about this. I search on this but can’t get more information on this, so please provide me if anyone know about this.

I was thinking at the time the other day. But I'm a little surprised you want a faster time. What do you want like 5 days in second place? How do you play that? We're talking about the cold war, here in 5 or 10 minutes could have made a big difference. Where WW3 could have been started and completed in 30 minutes. So if you speed up speed, it would take less than a second for the final game. If you really want this game super bomb. I suggest you play Defcon. Within minutes to play. Steam even has a demo, if you want a look.

I was on the opposite side, where you wonder how they slow the game down. If the overall speed would be slower or more say that if a country entered a Defcon mode, the speed is reduced to real time. Because of their need to go to a slower speed to simulate the stepping and reducing tensions. The mere fact of its bombers launching strategic will have relationship problems. And even could lead to WW3 if the voltage is high enough. And all this happens in minutes and hours. If your seconds 5 a day that is 30 seconds for a week of play. The situation could have come and gone in that time period.

I think RHKINC raises a valid point. The truth of the matter is that SR2020 has received much criticism for being a "slow" the game and I imagine it would be good for sales, if that was not the problem with this game. I would like the ability to speed up the game so dramatically that you can actually enjoy all the 50ish years game will most likely receive no play until I retire, and then to slow down the experience of the minutes and dramatic hours that the war could be declared at any time.

I agree that it should be faster in 2020 takes a long time for a year to pass. However, the other side of the argument is that because the game is real-time one day in 10 seconds may not be reproduced. If 2020 was faster than would be perfect, but I do not know how you will deal with BG, but I hope to develop a system. I think the slowdown was due to sr2020 a change in the way the AI used units. That was added in an update. Now developers have the opportunity to streamline the code properly and such. So I expect the engine to run more smoothly than before.
