GTA 4 not compatible with Asus laptop

I have bought new ASUS laptop and when I installed GTA 4 on it. It installed successfully but when I start game it runs slowly. I checked Graphics settings it says Graphics exceed its limit .My Laptop configuration is ASUS K42JC A1 Laptop Computer - Intel Core i5-430M 2.26GHz, 4GB DDR3, 500GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce G310M,Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit .So what can I do to resolve this problem .

I was also facing same problem. My friend suggest me to update drivers to latest version .It solved my problem now my game runs smoothly .So your Graphics Drivers may be older try to update it to latest version and then check game again .It may solve problem you are facing. Also you can reinstall game and check if it works or not.

Laptop you are using has NVIDIA GeForce G310M. Which is in-built graphics. Many time games are not compatible with in built graphics. Requirement for game are as below.

OS: Windows XP SP3 or Windows Vista SP1

Problem for you is to play the GTA 4 game on your Asus laptop, It might be due to screen of the monitor, you may check out if any hardware changes is require. These game has been updated to latest version require at least 5-6 patches just try them to be downloaded and apply patches to game and try to run game I will resolve issue.
