Supreme Ruler Cold War: Bombers vs. Ships

Light bombers, medium and heavy convoys attacked time for many of the Bismarck Sea ww2. Battle is a great over-dependent example. Even doctrine cannot say that honesty was not this time as the doctrine for the moment and until they developed a career special attack called "pump jump" to it. Time to give there some default bombers attack against ships, and a decent boot.

Must admit that this be a good point, although the bombers large must remain poor sinking shipping, as they were in real life, but smaller planes, also known as torpedo / dive bombers should be more effective against vessels that are then currently, as a squad should be enough to sink a destroyer in a torpedo attack on the entire squad. It has been said many times that the missiles would be the units are supposed to have a 2 hex range missiles that doesn't minimum. Any is supposed to be considered as part of the attack by default.

I agree somewhat with your thought. I can see light or medium bomber at a standstill being used for bombing enemy naval groups to late 40, but why is still in use after 1950? Bombers have a much longer range, as in the Battle of Bismarck Sea, the bombers may offer one or two punches before the fight variants can enter it. Why risk bomber and its crew when you can use ground-based or fast attacks of airplanes?

That's not planned bombing, deliberate bombing it. That would be the assault value of class 10 or class 13 aircraft. Beforehand had few units with great values of naval attack and definitely, another time. If we are talking about a class of 12 units, planned bombers, attacking the ships you necessitate finding a video of a plane dropping ordinance on a ship from 10k feet and hit.

Do you have a photo of the B-17 or B-25 does? And that picture is clear that the unit is doing a direct attack from 20 feet up, no indirect bombing 10k feet. You can probably get one of Mitchell; I will have to look a bit though. Go bombardment was about 200 feet, if you know typed at 20. I do not know what you mean by "Class 10 fighter" but the primary role was A-20 light bomber (although some models were considered technically medium bombers)

Re: Supreme Ruler Cold War: Bombers vs. Ships

April 3, 1943 the 43rd Bomb Group (B-17) took two Japanese cruisers Meowed out of action (one had to be beached to avoid sinking-AOBA not know what the second one was) by bombing jumping. All the above are cases of aircraft moving down to what we classify "air" to attack and make a direct attack as a unit of class 10 would not. This is no way of carpet bombing "in mid-air" altitudes. We could revise the rules 12 years class attack naval movement closely, but that might annoy people when defense systems near start killing terrorists.

Re: Supreme Ruler Cold War: Bombers vs. Ships

The bombers were shot down to do this; they really should not be a problem. But that would be too easy, is not there? The problem is that bomb too, but had a low success rate. I have seen estimates of 5%. Things are, it was not unusual for 8 to 12 heavy bombers to sink a ship as old carpet bombing. Could you add an order in place? Have the carpet bombing attack by default normal in the middle. And add in an order with a much higher attack and lower defense, making them go down and move the air pump.
