Team Fortress 2 unable to connnect to VAC server

Hi, I always used to play Team Fortress 2 and it was working fine but since yesterday I encounter very critical error with the game as when I was trying to connect it with the VAC server, I was unable to do that as after few minutes it display a message saying Steam can't attach with VAC servers, please contact Steam Support, so what will be the problem actually, because I never had such a problem ever yet, any suggestion why this is happening?

I think there are some problems in the stream itself, it sometimes happens as because of some unnecessary rather I would say corrupt cache may cause this problem. Thus I would say you should try to update the steam itself and then try to play the game on the server. In fact I was also having the same problem once but after updating the steam I was able to connect it again through the local server.

This is just a connectivity problem, have you ever try to change the settings, because if you have done anything wrong in the configuration than this may cause this problem, so according to me you should make sure that the setting which is essential for connecting to the servers is properly configure, otherwise you will unable to play the game attaching with a server.

You must have to check both the settings, I mean to say for the router as well as in the game also, have you change the router or what, if yes then you must have to make some changes in the router also, because all the router has little bit different setting, and off course in the game also you have to change the settings. and as the above user mentioned you should check whether the stream through which you’re connecting is also working or not, or you may have to change that also.

This happens when the internet disconnect in between, because as you have mentioned that you get message after few minutes, that means that surely there is some problem in internet connectivity. So you should always make sure before connecting that the connection is active, otherwise the game also make it disconnect because of the corrupted files, so if suppose you do everything possible, and still persist the same problem the you should try to uninstall the game and then install it again.

That’s for sure that you have to check whether the internet it working, but as well as the setting also you have to made, but if suppose you don’t know anything about the setting you can simply change it to its default, this will also help you. And check whether any firewall had block this game or not, if it would be blocked then also it may happens, and it so you have configure it and allow the game to connect to internet.
