Civ 5 Mac and Civ 5 PC versions cannot seem to play together. "The version does not match the host" error. I was allowed Steamplay? If somebody has some information or links very much be pleased about it. Google search appear to pull the old forum posts. Please share your ideas with me. Well, this solution about changing the plist worked fantastically for me to be able to play with my roommate. Until a couple of days ago when we were back to square one as the PC version, once again, updated, while the Mac is left in the dust. So now I cannot see anyone online and I can play with anyone on a LAN. Thanks Firaxis! I know this is a huge patch scanning and probably not compatible, but it's worth a try.
