Grim reaper in Sims 3 : Generations

Recently I have installed the Sims 3: Generations in my computer. Is there a method to create friends by means of the Grim Reaper? If so then how can I do it? I have attempted talking to him while somebody dies and there is no communication. If somebody knows how please permit me make out. Where can I get this information?
