Unable to launch the dedicated sever tool in Duke Nukem Forever

I am getting really strange issue while playing Duke Nukem Forever on the computer of mine. I have noticed that I am unable to launch the dedicated server tools while playing this particular game. Let me know if you are having any useful instruction to launch the dedicated server while playing this particular game. any instruction on this particular matter would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Well looking at the situation i am suggesting following the intrcution to fix the matter of yours.

• You have to launch the command prompt on the computer of yours and then you have to run the below mentioned command on the command prompt.

• cd "\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\duke nukem forever\System"

•  Now you have to run the below mentioned command on the command prompt.

• DukeForever.exe -server MapName?Options -myservername="ServerName"

Looking at the requirement of yours I wanted to share something which will give a light shed on this particular matter. The server browser would show the random selection of the servers and console into the entire game. so according to me it would be impossible to join the dedicated server while playing the game. even you will not be able to join the server by using the IP. So I think you should forget to use the dedicated server while playing the game.

I am suggesting following instruction which would be useful to meet the requirement of yours.

1. You have to browse to the Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\duke nukem forever\System location and create a .bat file.
2. You need to enter following piece of code into the bat file.

   start DukeForever.exe -server DM-Casino?Rotation=Random?Game=dnGame.dnDeathmatchGam e?Mutator=None?FragLimit=50?RoundTimeLimit=10?MaxP layers=8 -myservername="My Dedicated Server"

3. now you have to run the bat file and the dedicated server would be launched on the computer of yours. I let you know that you will not be able launch the game when the dedicated server is running on the computer. there is very limited feature you need to exit the same.

Also you will have two kind of rotation for the map that is Repeat and Random. The random mode of the map would repeat the maps indefinitely So you can use the above mentioned information while running dedicated server on the computer of yours.
