COD4 Modern Warfare "waiting for response from master server"

I have a verified key code and it says it is a right code
But when I refresh my join game list nothing happens, it just keeps waiting for response from master server

Could anyone help me out with this one??

Are you using any firewall? Have you tried adding cod4 to your exceptions list in windows firewall or any third party firewall software? There could also be a reason that the master server is probably down. It used to happen in UT2004. You can try out again later to join the master server and check whether you could join or not.
