The application has to shut. The Error code: 4 or 8. Then the prompt show me to visit the Nvidia support page. Does anybody have familiar with this error or issue.

While Googling I have got the solution of this issue. However the problem is telling about some kind of recovery through the registry entries. Below there is a solution of this issue. Keep in mind that backup all of your Registry prior to continue this.
    • Open the registry editor in your computer either by the use of shortcut or (start -> run -> regedit)
    • After that find the entry called: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetControlGraphicsDriv
    • ers (ensure that GraphicsDrivers is painted).
    • Now Right click -> New -> DWORD (32-bit) values -> after this Name it as: TdrDelay -> double click on top of it -> Set it to “A” (hexadecimal) otherwise “10” (decimal).

As far as I know that TdrDelay is the Timeout Detection and Recovery (TDR) delay. These are integrated into Windows Vista as well as Windows Server 2008 and can notice while the graphics hardware otherwise gadget driver get longer than anticipated to end an process. While this occurs, Windows tries to anticipate the process, and repair the display scheme to a working condition through resetting the graphics adapter. This might be set toward 0 to immobilize the aspect simultaneously (I haven't experienced this; make use of at your individual risk). Additional operating systems might have TdrLevel too (Windows 7 does not) otherwise further TDR precise "features" you might tweak.

Numerous users have taken an additional activist by merely plummeting the video settings to function about the problem (lesser video settings = superior FPS = no TDR problem), except I discover that is an improper work in the region of like video superiority is impacted, and I didn't buy a GTX 570 to play by the side of 800x600. I haven't observed that error from the time when I foremost posted this, and it's been regarding 20 or thus solid hours inside game exclusive of a drawback (counting the sound bug), like forever, backing your registry previous to you alter, and alter at your personal risk, and this might not repair each case of the driver being rearrange.

One of the mainly ordinary permanence issues in graphics is while the system seems totally "frozen" or "hung" whereas operating an end-user command otherwise process. Users normally hang around some seconds and afterward reboot the system through pushing the Power key. Frequently the graphics processing unit (GPU) is "active" handing out exhaustive graphical processes, characteristically for the period of gameplay. These consequences in nothing being updated on top of the display, accordingly emerging to the client that the system is freezing.

The TDR issue is about the Windows Vista. Windows Vista tries to notice these difficult hang circumstances and get well an alert desktop energetically. In this procedure, the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) driver is re-initialized and the GPU or graphics card is going to be reset. No reboot is essential, which really improves the user familiarity. The simply noticeable relic from the hang recognition to the revival is a display flash, which consequences from resetting several segments of the graphics stack, rooting a screen re-draw. A few elder Microsoft DirectX apps might deliver to a black display at the last part of this recovery.

The Video Scheduler constituent of the Windows Vista graphics stack notices that the Graphics processing unit is captivating over the allowable quantum instance to implement the picky job and attempts to obstruct this particular assignment. The block process has a "wait" break—the real "TDR timeout." This footstep is hence the "timeout detection" stage of the progression. The default break era in Windows Vista is two seconds. If the GPU cannot accomplish or block the present job within the TDR timeout, in that case the GPU is analyzed as suspended.
