hello every one i have been to the codemaster forum and i wanted to discuss about the frequently asked questions on the upcoming operation flashpoint: red river so here i am. i want to start with the launch dates which by the way also are avaliable at the codemasters forum according to them the game is going to launch in Europe,Middle East and Oceana-North America-Japan and other countries on/after 21st of april. it does depend on the local distributors after all.

the patches for operation flashpoint: red river will be available from day one of the launch, for the PC version and the console version does not need any patch as the updates provided for the PC version is for bringing it up to date with the console version. the updates will be provided to the user through automatic updates once the user logs in their windows live account. the patch size available is of 28 MB and it is available from 21st April, there are no update on the console version. other than this there are no updates on the game available on operation flashpoint: red river.

for the people who do not have access to the internet they probably have no other options then taking their console to a friends place and updating them there. there is no other options as the game cannot be updated with out access to windows live. this is all related to the terms and conditions that you will accept by purchasing the game. it may upset a few customer but there is no way around this if you wish to get the patches as soon as they are available.

there was an issue with saving the game in the campaign mode. the missions when played under co op are superseding the saved games in the campaign mode. that means if you play the game as a single player and you have attained till mission 5 and in co op you join a friend on mission 8 then. and then go resume the game's single player campaign you will have jumped to mission 8. You have an option here to choose to continue with mission 8 or simply go back to mission 5 and resume that level if you wish.

the ratings provided for operation flashpoint: red river by various standards are PEGI 18, BBFC 15, Mature (US) and 16 USK, (Germany). all of this does indicate that the game is lot better then most of us had expected. the ratings are all the proof i need to purchase the game. operation flashpoint: red river rocks and the game play are awesome, the graphics in the game are also really very life like. its seems like a great experience.
