I am a great fan of this game and I want some support for a 3rd party Stats Reader for Super Meat Boy. I found some users talking on the same regarding a Super Meat Boy Stats reader. Is this an official application for the game. Where can I found it. I did not found the download on the game site and also on the games forums. What does this application do, does this helps to shares the game stats directly online. And how to use the same. I tired finding information on the same but not able to locate anything. The game is awesome. It is not a official application. It is released by a game fan. It is a kind of application which lets you to share your stats with others. Here is a short way to explain how does this works. When you run the application this applications reads the information from the save game folder. Then it extracts those information and display the same on your screen. And remember that this process does not at all damages your files. The tool is very much handy and easy to use and it is also easy to copy the same on the clipboard. So that you can share the same with your friends.

You can get the download for this application on TeamMeat forums. A user Juzz has posted the same. This application is also created by it. It is just an stats sharing application and you can use the same to share your games scores online. There is file in your hard drive called as savegame.dat file. This file has information on the scores and other game stats. The file extracts information from that and then gives you a display of the same. This file does not modify your save game files. There is no option provided for that. I got the download for the same and you can then also download the same from below. The name of the file is SMBStats. Download and run it.

The application is easy to use and there is no major issue in that. To use that you just need to run the exe file and then click on the load button. This application then tries to find the Super Meat Boy installation folder and scans for updates. It selects the Super Meat Boy directory automatically. You do not need to do much here. In case if does not finds the Super Meat boy directory the you have to browse the same manually. Here is the default location of the files for save game - \Steam\SteamApps\common\super meat boy\UserData. In this choose your user and then click on savegame.dat file.

This is an awesome tool. I had used this and really nice to share your stats with your friend. Th only thing lack is that there is no way to modify those dat file. You know if that was possible then I would definitely modify my stats in that. But that can be a negative impact. You can use this to compete with your friends and enjoy the game. You have to use this tool once just to get the stats on your desktop. The tool easily shows you the number of bandages and other information on the gameplay.

I am thinking of using this application. I just accidentally landed on this thread. I was going to download the game and just for sharing things the menu shows a small highlight of the stats. But the tool provides in detail information. There is screen shot uploaded on the forums of this game which can give you a clear idea of what is your status in the game. The game is also nice with better gameplay and graphics. I had found the game very amusing and the application support on that is better. I was hopping for more choices on the tool.
