As you said that the problem started after updating session you did last night, I suggest you must have corrupted your game files with that update. Scan your computer for viruses. Remember to always keep your antivirus updated. You can also roll back the update you did yesterday night by doing system restore. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Choose the restore date, to which you want the system to roll back into. Hopefully it will help you. |

Check if your graphic card drivers are updated or not. Sometimes an outdated driver can also lag your games. There is a high possibility of your game files getting corrupted. So if it’s convenient, you must uninstall and reinstall the game. I would suggest you to download the latest updated setup of Crasher game. Don’t forget to restart the system whenever prompted. Don’t forget to delete local content before reinstalling the Crasher game. Hope it works for you and you again start playing such an awesome game. |

| Re: Crasher Game Freezes after starting in Windows XP
Thanks for the replies. But unfortunately none of them is helping me. There is no instance of restore point in my system. Also I read about the system restore on Internet and realized that it would remove everything from my system, which I installed after the date of restore point. So I changed my mind of doing system restore. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, but with no luck. Rather than that now the game is not starting only. Somebody give me some more suggestion to solve my problems. |

First uninstall the game completely from the system. Then delete the playerdata.xml file from the Crasher directory (the location where you had installed the game before). Deleting this file will solve your problem as it did for me. After deleting the file, restart your computer. Finally again install the game. Don’t worry if you landed up deleting any of the XML files like config.xml, inputs.xml, playerdata.xml because they will be regenerated. Enjoy!!! |
