List of steering wheels supported by NFS Shift 2

Hi, I have always being a great fan of EA Sports NFS Shift. Always enjoyed playing Shift 1 and I am very much excited about the Shift 2. As Shift 2 will be released in few days worldwide, I would like to know the officially supported Steering wheels. I hate playing with the keyboards and am planning to try the game on wheels, which would me more exciting. So anyone having any details about the officially supported Wheels for NFS Shift 2 please help!!

Dude you did not mentioned which version of NFS Shift 2 you planning to purchase (XBOX, PS3 or PC). I am using Xbox 360 so I know only about the wheels supported in X360. I have Fanatec PWTS with 6H Shifter and clutch. And it worked 100% in NFS Shift 1 for XBOX 360 so I am hoping that it is compatible even with the Shift 2. By far I know only Microsoft Force Feedback Wheel, Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo and logitec DriveFX are supported by X360 version of NFS Shift 2.

I am using a PS3 and can help you out if you are also using PS3. There is a list of Logitech driving wheels (I am also using one) along with others that are supported in PS3. Officially supported by Shift 2 are

• Logitech Driving Force EX

• Logitech Driving Force GT

• Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

• Logitech G27 Racing Wheel – full support for all buttons

• Logitech Driving Force Pro.

Other models supported by PS3 version of Shift 2 are:

• Fanatec Porsche 911 turbo and similar models

• Nascar Racing Wheel

• Thurstmaster RGT FFB Clutch

• Thurstmaster F430 FFB

I had mentioned in my earlier post that I am bored of playing with my “keyboard” and am planning to play it by using some steering wheel and feel the excitement. That must have made it clear that it’s for PC. Though thanks a lot for your replies. I have got a good list of choice. Now I am more confused on which controller to buy (though it depends a lot on my budget). I would love to experience the game in Xbox. Thanks again for your kind replies.
