directX 10 failed to Initialize while playing DevilMayCry4 game

I am using windows vista operating system, it never shown a problem like this ever in past. I bought Devil cry 4 game from my friend while installation it ask for DirectX installation and shown me link to install it. Installation goes to its completion state. Once I have finished the installation I click on the shortcut made on my desktop to this game. It’s really shocking it show me message that DevilMayCry4 game failed to initialize the direct please install it. What is this all about if anyone over here knows the solution please let me know? I have played many game never faced this problem. What is use of this in game.

From my point of view there is problem in your game CD. While installation when you are asked for install DirectX and when you click to install it. It is not found in your CD. Or it may be case that installation has skipped. So would suggest do the installation of the direct manually from the game CD. Mostly this DirectX installation take place automatically while game installation because it come with the game itself. So follow the step and let me know your experienced.

I don’t think there is problem in CD because this CD was also used by friend he never faced this kind of the problem. I have tried to install the DirectX manually from the CD. But it does not make any difference I am still facing same problem. Here I can say this is the problem with my operating system. I think my operating system does not allow working with this direct. If any have better solution please let me know. I would like to thanks in advance.

Once I have faced this kind of DirectX problem. I experienced this problem when was I trying to play resident evil 5. I thought it is due to lower version of direct. So I installed the latest version of directX10. But still it does not make any difference. Then I thought that this is due to my operating system. So I have tried it on different OS. It worked fine there. So I finally look for hardware then I come to know that my ati graphic card does not support directX.
