I want to know how to forward port for Crysis 2

I had downloaded a demo of Crysis 2. The game is really amazing. I want to play this game with my friends and for that I have to configure a server on it. Just for testing purpose I am trying to configure a multiplayer session on this. Later on I will go for the full edition. It looks the game's outgoing and incoming request are getting blocked. I want some help through which I can forward the port without turning off the antivirus.

There is no surety that port forwarding is going to work. As per the manual the ports that this game uses is 80, 64100, 6667, 29900, 2990, 2891 UDP: 27900, 27901 & 64100. I will recommend you to turn off your firewall or just disable your antivirus for sometime. Just turn that thing off for sometime and try to play online. And see whether it is working or not. If it is working well then you can go ahead with port forwarding thing. You can find a full guide on it on internet.

Port forwarding is not very complicated. You just have to tell your firewall to unblock incoming or outgoing request from the specific mentioned ports. You can do that through your router. You have to login in the router admin page and then you will have to go in port forwarding section. Many routers comes with pre-configured option for gaming and apps. In that you have to choose Games and add a new entry. That's it.
