Starcraft II having graphical distortions

I recently installed the Starcraft II.I played it for sometime and it ran very nicely. But after some duration I experienced graphical distortions and saw colors flickering across static texture while continuing with the games. The images and fonts of the game appear too big. The game is also running slow as well as system hangs? Can anybody let me know what the problem is?

Some graphic cards have problem with them in displaying certain texturing effects. Please check for the video card
installed in your system. May be your video card doesn’t support due to high resolution and graphics. Please consult to the manufacturer for driver updates for your card. Also see the hardware requirements and specification mentioned in the cover of the game. This problem also arises when the game video option is set too high for the video card in your computer.

If your system is overheated it will put adverse affect on the program performance. This could be also be one of the reason that slows down your system. Please check for any blocks like dust or anything in the path of ventilation. Open the cabinet of the PC and properly clean the dust.Set all the components of your system to the to their default speed while running Starcraft II.Go to Windows task manager switch to process and end all the unnecessary process that keeps cpu busy.

Check if your game Starcraft II requires DirectX. Make sure that you are using the latest version of DirectX. It is also important for your video card to be up to date so that it is compatible with the latest version of DirectX. Outdated or incompatible video cards can give rise to many troubles while playing. If you have got installed Starcraft II in your laptop then you need to get your drivers from the manufacturer.
