EA Download manager keep on downloading Crysis 2

I went to download Crysis 2 this afternoon. By the use of EA download manager I started downloading the game. Before that I checked my internet connection speed properly by the use of a good application. After testing it I started downloading. The download started well but didn’t seem to be ending anyway. The download process was keeps on continuing without any end. The game doesn’t seem to be downloading. I get just the screen showing me as it is downloading game file. There was no error or prompt at all.

It seems to me that it is the issue of the internet speed which you are using. Either you may be using low speed internet otherwise the system doesn’t able to acquire sufficient bandwidth or speed. You need to keep checking the speed of the internet so that it cannot disturb your download process. if there is any interruption with the connection or disconnection of internet then it may cause the download manager to continued with the process without noticing the internet.

I think that your EA download manager is not properly connecting to the EA server. It may be keep on demanding the connection to the server to download the game. Otherwise it might be also possible that the server was in busy mode while you downloading the game. Have tried it after several hours? If you still cannot able to download it then contact the EA support team. They might help you to find out what the issue would be.

First of all contact your ISP and make sure that you have the sufficient download speed for your connection. Furthermore ask them to check the bandwidth of your connection. If everything is fine then it may be the issue in your side. While starting the download, set the download speed to a definite speed by the use of any good application. It will help you to download the game more accurately. I hope that you are not behind any firewall, router and proxy. If you are behind those things then they might have blocked the ports in which the system communicates with EA server.

It could be the issue with the server side not the client side. If there is any then you might have resolved it so far I think. If you know about your system configuration and settings then you don’t need to struggle much to fix this issue. If the issue is in remote side then it cannot be resolved by you. The EA server otherwise the Download manger itself seems to be faulty. You must contact the EA about this issue. Have tried to download using other computer or by the use of different internet connection? I think you should try it first. The size of the game may be very large and it obviously requires enough time to get download.

It might be issue with the server side or the client side. You need to check on that before posting the thread. While starting the download open the internet packet monitoring software to recognize or calculate the incoming and outgoing packet passing through your computer. By this way you can point out whether your computer or the EA download manager is actually downloading the game or not. if not then you can assume that you need to get the latest version of Download manager. I think that recent version of EA download manager is v7.3.4.4.
