What is the difference between a normal player and ranked match player in Assassin’s creed brotherhood?

I just need to know the difference between a normal player and ranked match player in Assassin’s creed brotherhood. Currently I am playing as a normal player so I am eager to know about a ranked player. Also is harder to play ranked? And is it like there are no stats for player match but only for ranked ones. If anyone knows the solution to this then does get back to me as I am waiting for the solutions for this query.

According to me the ranked matches are the one that count for your templar scores and this is not the case in the normal player situation. This is the reason why ranked tends to be harder. Actually if you look closely the thing is that in ranked match player you usually tend to play with a person who is roughly at your level of skill. And this is not the case in other situation. There the situation is that you will encounter a person where you're better than basically everyone. I think that's the only difference.

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I just went through the solution and feel that this may well be the difference between a normal player and ranked match player in Assassin’s creed in brotherhood. I did actually experimented with the solution yet but will try out the next time I’ll play the game .But if anyone knows any different solutions then do get back to me immediately as I want to know some other difference between them.

According to me what you can do is you can just play against your friend in normal player match but this is not possible in the ranked match player. But I think that you can play team modes alongside friends. Also you can team up with another player before loading the alliance and the game will then automatically pair you up in ranked matches and then you the can have up to three others with you in Manhunt or Chest Capture or Escort Ranked matches. But this is not the case in player matches.

For me the difference is that ranked matches count towards your templar score and leader boards as is being mentioned in some previous solution. This means that everything you do in a ranked match like the kills or death and some other actions are taken into account to build up your statistics. What this does is that it makes your position in a certain category of the leader boards. But I feel this is not the case in other situation and thus this is the difference between the two.

Yes I do agree with the earlier solution. To carry on with it I would say that the average player only cares about the templar scores and thus he just plays as a normal player. Also this means that players in ranked matches care about their score and are trying harder to get high scores. In ranked match you are against players who have a similar templar grade as you do. Thus the ranked matches will offer you matches that suit your skills better. So for that reason I would tell you to go for ranked match player to prove yourself or for that matter if you have to go up in the leader boards.
