Assassins Creed 2 Save Game for PC wont work after overwriting

I installed a bigger HD in my PC. Installed Assasin Creed 2 and copied the files in the 'c:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed II\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\storage\YWxhbmNoYW54'

That did not work.

Any suggestions?

I am facing the issue with latest one. The latest edition of this game is Black Flag. I got some save game files from the web and I had moved the same to my existing game. But it does not look to be working fine. Whenever I try to start the game it crashes. I had removed the files also but still it is crashing. The system is also extremely slow when I double click on the game icon. It takes a few minutes to finally load. I had downloaded those files from a blog-spot. There were few comments on it stating that this files are working.

Those can be fake files also. Many of these are distributed with malware. So you must always avoid adding those files in your system. The best thing you can do here is simply re-install the game. Launch Task Manager and terminate all background applications. This will add a bit more performance in your system. Or else it remain slow. Just remove the game and also wipe out not required applications. You can use a pc tuneup software which will give detail information on unwanted stuff in your pc. You can clean your system through that.
