Unreliable Treasure Hints in Volcano in Treasure Isle

My friend and I both are facing the similar issue. We have establish that the Treasure close by as well as Treasure Really Close hints are unreliable. I have dug a piece of ground by means of no treasure hint. I dug most of the remaining the map through no achievement and it driven out that the treasure was exact next to the inventive space that provide no hint. This has occurred on more than a few levels. My treasure detector does not function. Many of the times he displays really close to treasurs but not the close to treasures and other time the detector ends working completely. So I require much fortune to discover anything, which is a really large difficulty within the vulcan. I have no hints as well as I have dug up the complete level by means of no treadure as well as can’t move on to after that level. I think I know what the issue is, as I been wasting energy on it and just noticed something. It seems I don't get the hint when I hit a squared which gives you an item e.g backpack, Gem and Fruits etc. I just tried it a few times and got the Green Gem and no treasure nearby by, then I decide to dig 2 squares away near the edge of the map and it said “Treasure Nearby”. So it seems where I dug before, I am either close to it or near it but will find out, when I get more energy.

I have just finished the mountain again. 25m screwed me with the first hint not showing. 10 digs for what should have been 3-5 digs. 900m screwed me with 15 digs where only 5 were needed at the most. And now on the final set, it took me 14 digs when my second guess was within 1 square of the treasure. Given the way I guess, and the location of the guess, it would have taken a max of 5 digs to find the treasure. So I am 5-7 + 10 + 9 digs over. That is an easy 25ish digs I could knock off. And that would have been the record dig count for all my friends (I had around 87 digs total, so 62 digs would be a beat the 67 dig record among my friends)
