Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II -- Retribution Preview

Warhammer Dawn of War 2: Retribution, The strategic action of the hand is back with new armed forces and more units to fight in cruel battles. For some time, the assault of the Ork-yeah with k-Space Marine Tyranid or our computers has changed the way we see this kind of games. But now, we can access a world of action and strategy with our Mouse along with the capability to modify characters and territories with our imagination limits. The case before us today is none other than Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War 2 "Retribution." This title comes after the victory of Chaos Rising, the first part of the game with the team of Relic Entertainment. They have committed to offer one more twist to the strategy, campaign and multiplayer modes providing the latest game for the player who want to continue the fun of great battles.

Overall, Retribution features 6 races, each with 16 campaign missions in single-player as well as multiplayer mode. We found the Orcs, along with Tyranids, Eldar, Chaos Marines, Space Marines and the latest faction expected in the series: the Imperial Guard. With gameplay focused on defense, the Imperial Guard in particular requires the size of their tanks. If this is the only faction able to build bunkers, turrets stronger than others and deploy blankets on the battlefield in two and three movements, but especially one that has more tanks. And especially who has a tank from the Tier 1. As if this were not sufficient, the vital unity is other than huge tanks called as Baneblade. The all 3 heroes of this new faction consecutively give a nice variety.

Though it is not required but it is compulsory to have a Steam account in order to who have not played and want to enjoy every last detail in the campaign mode and catch up in terms of Ork and merciless battles are concerned. The particular part that worries us today is the multiplayer. It is the powerful game part that provides hours of fun for fans of this game. And that is what Retribution brings for us. The game features, the main novelty, the Imperial Guard, as well as the Space Marines, Orks, Eldar and Tyranids to which we are accustomed. All are available with different heroes and new unit. We can choose between an offensive hero, a more defensive and finally, one of support.

According to the role play, we have to expand skills that each unit may change to get more commanding position in the attack or conversely with a specific weight in the tasks of containment and defense of our strength. We even have the ability to tune it our way with different shields, materials, models and true colors to their race. In this way, we are able to enter public games, private request or invitation to host the game, allowing us to decide the map between the available 32, and the conditions for victory, extending in 4 different options with different control points. The fact of including new options for combat through the units and the emergence of the new Imperial Guard makes the game take a different light. As per the graphic, it is not a big development as if they've been in the past, when the qualitative leap has noticed more, but the innovations cover this point giving the game to explore new frontiers for the player.

In terms of multiplayer, developers have uncovered a fresh map called as “Retribution” in this Ashes of Typhoon. The map is planned to carry the games in one against one, two against two, three and three against every man for himself. Though the Relic has played cards on the table by revealing the additional unit that will enjoy every race. The Space Marines will benefit from a huge tank transporter troops heavily armed with a flamethrower and a cannon Multi Melt, Chaos Marines have their right to a squad of soldiers loud sound using power to cripple their enemies, Eldar will have a second commander and Orcs of a troop carrier winner in attack power based on the number of units shipped. As for the Tyranids, it's downright a 3 tier unit that is added to the arsenal. The Swarmlord is just like its fellow creatures fighting hand-to-body, having the individuality to speed up others nearby Tyranids and redevelop by gripping the lives of enemy squads.

Re: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II -- Retribution Preview

The multiplayer action is served from the outset. If we decide to guide your groups to the target than first find work to do. Just demolish your enemies earlier than they reinforce their outpost with new soldiers. The game is faster and stronger. It is simple in the early stages; at least initiates have some doubts about the development of the game. The speed of assembling a solid unit and undermine the enemy and, simultaneously, begin to create and upload your strength levels will be essential for the progress bar. The points accumulate to get rid of enemy and get him to increase points to get better units or create new squadrons. In the same way, you can even level up and unlock new troops (both combat machines and new formations of more specialized soldiers).

Redevelopment of the environment is another point to judge. The characters contact with it and the reaction to break contact with the bigger vehicle or different attacks make the active part of the game that offers more realistic touch. Attacks, dust clouds, darkness and light ... it’s a great game configurability that allows possibility of the range of large number of players. The minimum requirements for Dawn of War II -- Retribution are processor at 3.2 and a minimum of 1.5 gb of ram, with minimum of 9 GB storage space. It also required graphic card of 128 MB with support for shader model. The multiplayer is fun and fits what we expected, a large following for a title that will have to talk.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II -- Retribution is going to be a good stand-alone, also Relic has confirmed that the ranks obtained in multiplayer mode in this game or Chaos Rising (whether against or in clashes in the survival mode in The Last cooperative stand) will be kept. Faithful to the principle of playing DoW II, Retribution puts us at the head of a small squad and a hero that is moved on a card enclosed in pursuit of goals. Attacks from one side and defense of another along with pitfalls to be diverse and varied menu are really the one that should be tried. This time, we will have the chance to add support for additional units straight recruited on the battlefield throughout the barracks made available for this purpose. So get ready to review your strategies, especially if you play with or against the Imperial Guard vehicles with devastating!

    Conclusion:

With 6 races, Retribution offers 6 separate campaigns that is consist of 96 missions, and that is off course not bad for an extension. Even as some cards are common, acknowledge that there will be plenty to do. I can confirm that the game has a very significant screening and developers have worked on a very solid base that will have to talk. As per the graphics and gameplay , they are as expected. The wait is till 1st March.
